Founded by Henrik Schmitz and Julia Stippler, the Studio works within experimentation, craft, and structure. We explore form through natural forces, functional constraints, and human movement. Our work combines artisanal methods, organic materials, and experimental systems with a precise, technical sensibility.
We operate as an infrastructure supporting ideas from concept to realization.
Our practice spans design and concept development, prototyping, experimental and industrial pattern making, organic dyeing and material research, informed by an archive of workwear and military garments.

Handmade shoes crafted from vegetable-tanned horse leather, finished with a full leather sole.
Vegetable-tanned leather jacket with a refined magnetic closure. Naturally dyed with iron and finished with beeswax.
Silk trousers inspired by anti-G military trousers dyed with cochineal and iron.
Cotton trousers made out of organic cotton dyed with cochineal and iron.
